"My mother was abusive to me. I had a lot of pent up anger but didn't realize just how much until I married and began abusing my wife. In the military I abused my wife and spent time in a psych ward where I spent much time in God's Word and in prayer. God began to change my heart. I was no longer physically abusive to her but years later I was confronted by a brother in Christ who boldly told me that he and some other men at church did NOT like the way I was treating my family. The Holy Spirit began to work on me again and changed me even more. Praise and worship music was also instrumental in my life changes. Today we have a ministry to others who struggle as we did.
