I am a recovering alcoholic who also became addicted to prescription pain killers. I was praying to God to either take my life or help me. He saved my life and helped me. I walked into a Narcotics Anonymous meeting on my own and confronted my physician and admitted my guilt. I decided to turn it all over to the care of God. I admitted I had a problem and sought help.
