"I grew up in a nominal Christian family in Bombay, India. I didn't read my Bible, I just kept it under my pillow to quiet my fears of the darkness. The plesures of this world were not attractive to me, but I was guilty of the greatest of all sins--ignoring God's gift of salvation. In medical school God gave me a hunger for spiritual things and it was then that a pastor visited our hostel. I confessed my sins to the Father in heaven and asked for forgiveness. He set me on the path to salvation by washing away my sins in the precious blood of his Son Jesus Christ. I began a new life.
