"I was raised in a Javanese, Islamic family, studied Islamic teachings, prayed five times to "Allah", read the Quran and learned all of the ritual prayers. I tried to obey "Allah" as faithfully as prophet Muhammad did. After college, questions arose. I was not satisfied with my life. I began to search for the answers to the questions in my heart. Whenever I passed a church building, I wondered what kind of God or gods were the Christians taught. Then I met Sam. His life radiated an inner peace. He showed me John 14:6 where Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." and told me how God loved me and how Jesus died for my sins.
