"My name is Stanley Liu. I am Deaf and 25 years old. It was not until I was arrested in San Francisco, that I realized someone really cared for me. My parents were divorced, my father moved back to Hong Kong and my mother lived with a boy friend I didn't like, so I joined a gang. I was not enjoying life. The police officer who arrested me, a Christian, took me camping and showed a genuine concern for me. He planted the "seed" in my life. Later, a friend at the Deaf School I attend, pointed me to Jesus. My friends couldn't believe the change in me. I was then able to lead both my parents to Christ.
