"Three months before the birth of our son, our doctor advised us that ultrasound had revealed a bubble in the digestive tract and that he had a risk of Down's Syndrome and would probably need surgery. We took it to our church and prayer partners and prayed that God would give us extra love for our Down's baby. After reading of the healing of the Centurion's servant (Matthew 8:5) I prayed, "God, I am not worthy to ask anything of you, but I know that with a word you can heal my son in the womb." Our son Collin was born without Down's and without any digestive problems whatsoever. The doctor told us, "He's fine. He's perfect," and a daily reminder of God's power and mercy. Ray.
