"I only prayed a few times in my life. The first time was when I was drowning in the Mediterranean Sea. God spared me. I prayed again when my wife was diagnosed with cancer. After she was told that she was in remission, I became a Christian at my church in England. I cried with joy at this experience, as did my wife. When she was diagnosed with an aggressive tumor, I became very angry with God. How could He do this to us? My wife pled with me to not lose my faith because her illness. She even got up off her death bed to see me baptized. She died just two months ago, and I miss her terribly, but the same God Who comforted her is comforting me, and I'm growing in the Lord.
