"I started doing drugs at the age of twelve and went on to smoking pot, hash, angel dust, dropping acid, etc. I was also drinking and using cocaine. I was a "functioning addict". I would be able to stay up all night sniffing cocaine, take a shower in the morning and go to work. Between my husband and I, we were spending hundreds of dollars a week on drugs, and the bills were not getting paid. I did not know how to kick the habit. In July, just before my planned suicide, my brother started telling me that God loved me and that I should go to his church revival and meet God.
