"I was a huge two hundred twenty lb. football player who traveled with the crowd, drank, smoked, and did drugsand could get along with everybody except my mom. The football field was where I vented my anger. But mom was still too much for me and I decided to end it all. I didn't care about life and no one cared about me. The Methodists had a retreat, and I went on it, sang and had fun, with Christians. I didn't believe it. The last day we are given a chance to go and pray in a little church nursery. I went and Jesus had a gift for me in that little room that I will never forget. I opened my heart to Him and prayed and cried about everything in my life. Today, I am an "on fire" Christian.
