I survived Desert Storm. I was a nominal Catholic who was religious, but not a Christian. My mother had given her life to Christ and actively pushed me toward Jesus. I accepted Christ but backslid to unimaginable depths. I abused my wife, assaulted a police officer nearly breaking his arm, and had gone to jail four times finally ending up in the slums. I have since rededicated my life to the Lord am employed as an aerospace techncian, bought a new home, quit drinking and smoking, made wonderful peace with God, and found some unbreakable friendships.
