At fifteen I was date raped and became pregnant. I was told that abortion was the way to go but I just couldn't do it. I knew that I could not parent a child at the age of fifteen. I chose to give the baby up for adoption. It seemed as though everyone that meant anything to me was against my decision. She is now fourteen years old and we are very close. She is also very close to my other two children. The family that adopted her have other children and both our family and there's are very close. I'm very glad I chose to give Chelsea up for adoption.
