"I was holed up with a pistol and I was going to blow my brains out, but afraid that if I did, I would never make it to heaven. I had measured my worth by the love of a woman. I was so addicted to love and eventually to drugs that I wanted to die. I no longer wanted to live. My brother, a police officer called the louisville police and asked them to check on me. A swat team was called out and I thought they would do what I needed to get to heaven. I just didn'nt want to live any longer. The pain was for me was horrible. The commander of the SWAT team was a blessing sent by God. He said to me, "Please, let me get you the help that you need." He did. Today, I am finishing my education and learning to love.
