After only nine months in my new community, I felt the Lord wanted me to do a Thanksgiving dinner for whoever wanted to come. The VFW Hall let me use their building. We served over 110 people. The best part of the whole day was my roommate's friend who came to help and was so giving. I knew he didn't know the Lord. After cleaning up, I shared the Gospel with him--The good news that he can be forgiven and have a relationship with our Savior Jesus. As he listened to the words I had just shared, he decided to ask Jesus into his heart. What a true Thanksgiving it was for me to see a new brother going to Heaven.
