For three years I have been living without drugs, alcohol, cigarettes or any other chemicals. During the twenty-two years I was addicted to drugs and alcohol, I was a prostitute, thief, liar--anything to support my habit. I did not just decide that I would do these things, I was searching for acceptance and love. I found neither. As a result of my addiction, I lost everything that was of value to me. I was beaten, raped, and robbed. My life was spared because God had a plan for me. Since finding Jesus,I have learned to praise and worship Him and I will not stop until He calls me home to be with Him.
