"I was eighteen, when after being beaten and raped by someone I thought really loved me, I received Jesus Christ. God really helped me with my self-esteem, because after the rape, I didn't have any. I fell away from God about a year later and got into the occult and witchcraft. I was really confused and didn't know where to turn. I am not proud of that fact. About two years ago, I gave my life back to Christ. Thank God, I was delivered from that lie. A friend gave me Isaiah 40:31 recently. I want to share it with you. 'Those who wait upon the Lord will gain new strength, they will mount up with wings as eagles. They will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.'
