I had hit bottom. I was a backslider. I felt that I had sinned so badly that God would never forgive me. I had, just gotten through a divorce after twenty one years of marriage and went right into an abusive relationship for a few years. One night, I'd had it. I went outside, looked up into the heavens, and prayed the most fervent prayer of my life. "Lord, I am not even worthy to speak your name, but I must cry out for help. I am at the bottom Lord,and I can see no way out. Hear me, O Lord, I ask for forgiveness and for mercy. There was feeling of peace. Within two weeks, I met a very nice man.
