I hope there is no judgements made on this. I had an abortion and I didn't want to have it. I was living in China and got pregnant. I wanted to keep the baby. A Buddhist Monk advised against abortion. I agreed. You see,I had a husband back home and when I told him I was pregnant he said it was either the baby or lose everything, because he was out. I was a coward. I had an abortion at nine weeks against my belief system. For a man I gave up a baby. I regret it. In honor of the baby I planted a Hawtorne tree. Hawthorne is used as a medicine for the heart. So I planted this tree with the name I would have given my son, and like a child it will grow into an adult.
