I am 70 years old and was born poor on a farm in Carolina during the week of the stock market crash in 1929. The depression was horrible. At thirteen, I accepted Christ as my savior, and after High School got a job with the with the telephone company. The biggest crisis in life came when a friend of my boss made homopsexual advances on me. I resisted and left. Later, I joined the Marines, fought in two wars, received a commission and an education. I have had health problems but God used them to strengthen my faith. All in all I have had a good life with my family and with God.
