The eleven-member Japan Emergency Team is working with local churches in Izmet, Tukey sharing both the love of Christ and the claims of Christ. This is the only response team from Asia. This Christian group was organized with 38 students to assist in the San Francisco earthquake and since have assisted in forty-seven seperate disasters. They have sent out an appeal today for urgent prayer for a clear and dynamic witness to the Turkish people and for the unity of the churches in Turkey as they minister to tens of thousands in need. Samuel Chadwick said, "the one concern of the devil is to keep Christians from praying. He fears nothing from prayerless studies, prayerless work, prayerless religion.
