Both my parents taught me to love God. I knew that God loved me and that Jesus died for my sins. I put my trust in Jesus but I didn't understand it all. When I was eleven years old, I went to Sunnybrae Bible Camp and God spoke to me through my youth pastor. He showed us a video that had scenes from when Jesus was crucified. I realized, then, that I was taking God's gift of salvation for granted. I decided to really live for Him. I'm so glad I did. I now know Jesus personally and I know that I have eternal life in heaven. I can even talk to my friends about Jesus. If you ever get a chance, listen to a song called,"God So Loved," by Jaci Valesquez! It's based on John 3:16 which says: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish."
