I am the mother of four children. I grew up in the sixties, and that was supposed to mean freedom. Well, to my surprise, it brought only heartache. My mother committed suicide when I was twenty-five, and it was all downhill after that. I started drinking heavily, doing drugs and getting involved in abusive relationships. I was always looking for something or someone to fill the void. After two failed marriages, I was lead to Jesus Christ and my life is new! The Lord took away my desire for alcohol and completely turned my life around. I did not think that was possible! I will always remember the verse of Scripture I heard when I accepted Jesus.
