In Singapore's worst post-war economic crisis, I found myself just two days away from a business failure. I needed more than $100,000 to stay afloat. The banks, even my banker, rejected my requests for help. I had already told the Lord that I would remain faithful to Him even though He might choose to not deliver me. Finally one of my calls for help was returned and in spite of the fact that I was out of town when he called, and my only audited accounts showed a dismal loss, he pledged trade facilities of over $115,000 just one working day before the deadline. God not only honored my prayers but my faithfulness and my submission to Him. For every door He closes, He opens another. Praise be to our Almighty Lord!!
