I was saved in 1976, served in the ministry as a pastor, but was addicted to the lust of the flesh. I lost my family and my ministry for a time because of that addiction. Yet, in Christ, I have found forgiveness, peace and comfort, and after a time, God has given me a ministry and a new wife. Being abused as a child and struggling between the flesh and the Spirit can cause great concern and even failure. The only answer I have found is to allow the Word of God to transform the images and thoughts that had separated me from Jesus Christ and then to surrender my flesh completely in order to "walk in the Spirit." "..."be transformed by the remewing of the mind...(Romans 12:1, and "...walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfil the lust of the flesh." Galatians 5:16.
