I have lived a life filled with alcohol, drugs, violence and prison. After my release I began a successful career in the old fields and eventually reached the top of the ladder. I had a family, a home and a wife that I thought was committed to me, but I didn't have God. Our life revolved around drugs and drinking. When my wife committed adultery my whole world fell apart again. Again it was jails, violence and a burning desire for revenge. Finally, a friend told me that I needed help that no man could give. At a wonderful church in Louisiana I experienced the power of Christ. The next Sunday my little boy and I were baptised in Jesus name. Today I have that inner peace and a better life for both me and my little boy. "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 5:1).
