On my way to the gym one night, I looked in the window of a church and saw a preacher preaching. I wanted nothing to do with those boring people. Then I saw the baptism tub. I'd never gone to church, but I knew one Bible verse. It said: "If anyone's name was not found written in the Book Of Life, he would be thrown into the Lake of Fire..." Revelation 20:15. When everyone was gone, I said to the preacher, "I want to be baptized." I was sure that was the way to keep out of that fire. After calling all the people back, he baptized me. With my long, wet, hair hanging down my neck, he talked while the people prayed suddenly something shot straight into my soul. I felt love for the first time in my life.
