As a demolition expert in Vietnam, I killed hundreds and then came home to nearly kill myself on alcohol and crack cocaine. In my search for wealth and man's approval, I lost God, my wife and my four children. I spent nearly $300,000 in 3 years in an attempt to get people to like me. I hung out in crack houses, motels, and bars. I was shot, stabbed and beaten several times before I realized that my problems were really a sign that God loved me. "...For whom the Lord loves, He disciplines..." ( Hebrews 12:5). After many hospitalizations, de-tox facilities and half-way houses I went to a Christain Men's Recovery Center.
