I was addicted for 20 years to alcohol and prescription drugs. Against my parent's wishes, I married a high school sweetheart and then had a successful career as a jazz pianist/singer with my own trio. My husband loved my career, but only because it gave him extra money and time to spend on himself and other women. Two years after my divorce, I received my precious Jesus. The date was Jan. 13th, 1987. Three days later, I woke up and realized that I was completely delivered from alcohol, pills, and agoraphobia. I now work in a law firm, am a certified Christian counselor, and minister once each week to people with addictions. I love Jesus with all my heart.
