My whole purpose in life was to be skinny. It all started during the summer before I entered the seventh grade. I had just switched to a new school where I had very few friends and no one seemed to notice me. I thought that if I were skinnier more people would like me. My friends were so skinny and it seemed that everyone always noticed them. I didn't realize that I was beginning a life long struggle with anorexia. I was addicted to dieting. At my worst I was 5'3" and weighed only 88 pounds. The more weight I lost, the more I wanted to lose, until I developed a relationship with Jesus Christ. He healed me from this terrible illness that stole my life and made it a living hell. Matthew 6:32,33 says it all--Make Jesus youR priority, and everything else will fall into place.
