Matthew 7:11, "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in Heaven give good things to those who ask Him?" One afternoon I stayed on my knees believing and praying until I knew in my heart that God would answer with a job for my husband. Like Jacob, I said I'm not letting go until the Lord has blessed me. My husband had a morning interview for a job opening and was told they did not have an opening for the kind of wages he required. So my husband came home disappointed and went on in for his evening shift. That was when I went on my knees. That same afternoon, a gentleman called, "Do you think your husband is still interested in the job?" I replied, "Of course." He then said, "He's got the job and we'll pay the wages he desires".
