I grew up in a Christian family and Jesus was as much a part of that family as anyone. When I was seven I asked Him into my heart and to stay with me whatever. As the years went by He did what I asked but I ignored His love and took all the blessings for granted. I tried to do everything my own way and ended up in a mess. But He was and is still there. Despite my taking Him for granted and ignoring His love, Jesus continued to pour it out to me. He never once failed me and now I see the times when His protecting arms were around me. Even then I would shrug it off as "good fortune".
