I'm a 19 year old college kid who was called into the ministry about five years ago. Only in the last year have I started writing poetry. What I really mean is that me and the Lord have been writing it. MY poetry usually isn't worth much; but OUR poetry is really great. Through these poems, the Lord has told me things that I would have trouble hearing otherwise, like this: Revelation 4:11 Your love is better than a thousand sunsets plus And Lord I thank You daily that You make them just for us So many of Your works are worth far more than gold Sometimes You must remind us sometimes we must be told "Shall we stop to smell the roses... No, we don't have the time. "We fail to stop and notice Your creations are divine Slow our lives and stop us to show us Your great earth Show us tiny miracles that are simple... like a birth Slow us -- clear our eyes bring Your nature into view Let us never get too busy to show our love for You Carla Dworsky 2-20-97 Isn't it great what the Lord can do with and through us that we could never accomplish on our own!
