In 1982, after running away from the Lord for 7 years and hiding behind drugs, alcohol and deception, I felt as though no one cared and daily desired to end my life. But the Lord kept telling me how much He loved me. After many arguments with Him that I wasn't the type of person He would want, I finally surrendered my life and repented. Overnight, He changed my life (II Corinthians 5:17). My husband and I are now children's pastors (Ephesians 2:10). Jesus' love and compassion is from everlasting, to everlasting even when you don't deserve it! He is the God that "sees" when you are hurting, are rejected, and in pain.
