He has always been with me. The first verse I learned was "For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." I was seven years old. I have left the path of the Lord several times in my life and was away from Him for long periods, but He never left me. He knew better than I that when I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was seven, it was for always. Though at times I may have not lived a Godly life, my soul belonged to the Lord. I thank the Lord.
