. Thank You! Thank you so very much for praying - we were able to safely enter cross the long border and enter Baghdad as the first relief organization to do so. We were able to bring in 20 tons of water - 11,000 bottles, medicine and food to help the precious Assyrian Christians and all other who came for help to The Assyrian Church of the East in Baghdad and we continue to do so. In addition the Thuraya Satellite Telephone company donated 10 Satellite Telephones so we could meet the greatest need - letting family members know they were ok - to date over 1,400 people lined for five and six hours at a time to make calls as the telephone system in Baghdad is completely down. Further we brought nearly 500 letters from family members to Baghdad and are functioning as the Postal Service and Telephone Service for Iraq bring letters and messages back and forth. Daily assistance including bringing out the bodies of two precious Assyrian Christians that had lain outside for nearly two weeks and currently helping 23 year old Dina Sarhan who had to have her left leg amputated due to being caught in crossfire. We are desperately trying to get her out of the country to a hospital so she can be saved. . . . because you prayed! II. Please pray! Please pray for the health of our seven team members as the situation is quite bad. Please pray for our daily meetings with the American and Civilian administrators of Iraq. Please pray for continued favor and open doors. Please pray for Dina Sarhan that we can get her out of the country for much needed surgery! Please pray for the ongoing programs that they will help the Church and the community. Please pray for much needed funds to pay for supplies, telephone air time and transportation. Please pray for the Assyrian Christians that they will be strong as the intense persecution from the Islamic community is already clear with buses saying "for Muslims only" areas of the city marked off "For Muslims only". Please pray that they will be strong and assert their rights at this time! Please pray for our partners in Jordan and Iraq that they will be strong. Please pray for me as I have been very, very sick.
