For all those retrenched or seeking employment out there, I just want to share how to Lord provided me when I was in the same situations a few years ago. Within a period of two years, I was retrenced twice. The first time it happened, I was totally distraught and cried out to the Lord. He blessed me with a new better job with much better salary within just 2 weeks. And it happened right in the middle of a recession too ... When I got retrenched again a year later, this time I totally remained cool and continued to delight in the Lord. As I've already experienced His goodness, grace and provisions before, there was no need to panic this time. Indeed God faithfully opened many doors for me and just when my savings were running out, I miraculously received a phone call from an unknown employment agency about a job opening, and managed to secure the job immediately, and am still at it after 2 years ! I truly rejoice in God's faithfulness. Philipians 4:19 - "And my God will meet all you your needs according to his glorious riches in Jesus Christ" Cling on to the promises of God, even in the midst of the many storms and turmoil around us, let us continue to witness to people around us and serve God joyfully ...
