My son was born healthy at seven pounds and two ounces. When he could not get rid of a fever when he was one, we took him to the hospital and were shocked to find out that his heart was enlarged because of a hole that was in the upper part between his chambers. We were told that it was impossible for this to close on its own and he must have open heart surgery. He would not live to be an old man. Of course, I cried and cried and cried. I have a mother's heart. But we believed in God's word. He had an echo test and sure enough the hole was captured on video tape and he was scheduled to meet with a pediatric cardiologist so that we could discuss surgery. He did another test and the hole was gone. He couldnt' believe it or explain it. It took him an hour to explain that the hole was gone. He didn't believe it so he had another test performed that same day---with the same results. God healed my baby! They still weren't convinced and they performed a more evasive procedure putting a camera in his vein and pushing it into his heart to take pictures. He had to be put to sleep to have this procedure with mult-million dollar equipment. The hole was still gone. Thank God he still keeps his word. The blood has not lost its power.
