I grew up in a christian home, while attending church every sunday, for 10yrs. And not once was I taught about jesus's Salvation. When I was 13 yrs old I got caught up with drinking, stealing, smoking, lying, getting in trouble with the law, and boys. I was heading down the wrong direction, trying to fill the emptyness in my heart. At that same time my uncle was struck with cancer the doctors issued him 3 months to live. He was the most influential man who was very strong in his faith. I started questioning life. How could a man in so much pain and agony lift up his life to the Lord and Glorify god. This changed everything. On the day of his funeral, also the day of my birthday, June 29th, I gave my life to christ. I put forth all my sins and gave my life to christ. Eversince my life has never been the same. Every day I wake up with a sense of hope and completeness. I am now 17 years old, an Honor Roll student and very involved w/ the community. No more lying, cheating, and stealing, because I have the Love of christ. No matter where i go in life I will always press onward and share the word of god. No one deserves to be in that much pain.
