This story is about my husband. We have been married for 20 years and for 16 of those years I have prayer (off and on) for his salvation. Also there were many others who were fervent prayers. Every Sunday morning the children and I would invite him to church and he would always decline. Low and behold one Sunday 2 years ago he accepted. He had been going regulary and began to ask questions, showing a great intrest. My church got a new pastor about a year ago that began talking to my husband. One Sunday morning in October of 99, jokeingly my husband asked the Pastor if he wanted to take a short over night road trip with him, not thinking he would go. The pastor did in fact go. As they were traveling my husband started to ask the pastor questions. The day in most peoples eyes would have been shot. My husband was detained at a truck weigh station (he was delivering a truck, he received 2 tickets at $175.00 each.The Pastor took the opportunity and lead my husband to the Loard right there even with all that was going on. My husband was baptised in November of 99. This is living proof never give up. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.
