I was born in a non-christian family -a back ground which is considerded to be the most upperclass background in India( Brahmin) and lived a life of my own untill the age of 20 with out having any knowledge of Christ, my saviour. Of course I was brought up in the disciplined way but there was always a desire in my heart to know the true God. In the year 1982, when my mother was planning to end her life due to her sickness in the body and peacelessness in life( due to severe continuous fights between the parents) we resorted to seek the Lord Jesus as I came to know through a college lecturer whom the Lord met when he was attempting suicide in Madras.As we began to pray in our own style as we did not know how to pray, it was amazing that the Lord spoke to my mothers heart and healed of her sickness miraculously afterwhich she didnot step in to the hospital for many years( I used to take her to the hospital about four or five times every week).It was an outstanding miracle that not only my mother and myself received Christ in to our hearts as our personal saviour, but the entire family received the Lord. Now I and my brother are pastoring the Lord's congregation in Madras city. We had learnt the meaning of living in this world and also we now know the answer foe the question " What happens to us after death?". We enjoy the life with the Lord every day. It is worth living in this world WITH CHRIST and life WITHOUT Christ is a meaniongless one facing all disappointments even upto eternity.
