Six years ago, I borrowed several thousand pounds from a good friend and could not repay when the 3 months was up-that was the agreed date. I own a semi-detached house, but because I wasn't working at the time, I could not get a loan on the collateral to the property. A few weeks before the expiry date of 3 months,I approached several friends for a loan of the above amount, but they for whatever reasons turn me down.I was sick with worry as I did not even have the air fares to fly to Singapore to approached my sister for a short term loan. As the days got nearer, Iused to get up in the middle of the night full of worries as to how I was going to resolve the problem.I was envying my Spanish wife sleeping soundly & peacefully next to me. One particular Thursday evening, I attended a charismatic service and when it was over, I approached an English lady counsellor, seeking her advice regarding my particular financial problem of the loan repayment.After patiently listening to my story,she said to me, pointing in the direction of a large crucifix in front of the chapel, where we were at,"Gregory, to'night when you leave this building, I want you to put your particular problem at the foot of the Crucufix (Jesus) and not take it with you home in your car." I agreed and that night, believe it or not, I slept soundly like a baby.I gave Jesus my problem to handle. A few weeks after the expiry of 3 months, my wife handed me an envelope which arrived from Singapore.Inside that letter,was the solution to my financial problem.My bro-in-law, said in the letter,"greg, at long last, your deceased father of 12 years (he died intestate)his estate has been settled and you shall receiv a few thousand pounds in a bank draft shortly.This amount was exactly what I owed, plus interest, to my friend.My wife on reading that,mentioned that it was a small miracle-Praise the lORD. My Faith in Jesus has been considerably strengthen since -praise You Jesus. I used to get up in the middlracking my brain wanting to solve the financial problem as the days get nearer.
