This is a story of God's faithfulness to His people. In Sept. of '99, I lost my job, was evicted from my apartment & was about to be out on the street. I didn't know where I was going to go or what to do next. By the spirit of God, my pastor knew what I was going through, although I had only shared my crisis with a couple of people I stand next to in my church choir. On Sun. morning he started ministering to me about our mutual enemy, Satan, trying to wipe me out. He handed me a $20 bill. Prior to this, the Lord had given me a scripture that indicated He would bring His righteous ones to help me. I read God's words & thought to myself in my confusion, Lord, what are you trying to tell me here. At random, people in my church would hand me $100, $50, etc. God told me He would release what was in His hand, if I would release what was in my hand...., meaning a "financial seed" offering for His work, i.e. seed time, harvest. I did find new employment & the Lord used His people to give me a place to stay until I could get back on my feet financially. I am now living in a beautiful condo in a very prestigious location with a wonderful Christian friend that needs financial help at this time in her life.
