When I was a little girl both of my parents were alcoholics and drug adicts. My sister and I were abused in every way immaginable, and we were constantly neglected, accept for when my mother would use us to get money. When I was 2 my father moved away and my mother went to jail, so my grandparents took my sister and I for a while. Eventually my grandparents got full custody of us. We were malnutritioned beyond belief, we were behind in development and severly depressed. When I was about 11 years old I started drinking and smoking. I was only 11!!!! I thought it was a way to get back at my parents, because I thought that no one loved me. One day a friend of mine invited me to go to church with her. Of course I didn't want to go, because I knew what they were going to tell me. That I was doing wrong and I was soooo bad! I didn't want to hear it. But that day was special. There was a guest speaker there that was doing chalk drawings. So, in that case, I went. He drew a picture of a lighthouse. The message he gave me was that without God, I am in the dark. He will show me the way to go, because HE loves me! He told me that I was doing wrong, BUT because Jesus loved me so much HE DIED FOR ME, so I could be forgiven for the things that I did wrong! HE DIED FOR ME!!! How many people can you say that you would die for or that would die for you, just for drinking a beer, or a little thing such as lying or making fun of someone, so you wouldn't get in trouble? He changed my life. That day, I accepted Jesus Christ into my life, to guide me, love me, and change my heart. Until him, I couldn't see the love that anyone else had, because he is love. I still live with my grandparents, but they are more than that now, they are a God given mom and dad when I didn't have one. But no matter who comes in and out of my life, HE will always be there, and he will always love me, and he will always be my father. We aren't alone. He loves you too! No matter what! Today I am going to different countries to tell of God's love! That's how awesome and worthy he is! Just accept him,...he is waiting for you!
