(John 5:24) I will turn 50 this year if I am around when Sept. rolls around. I never thought I would be around when the new millineum arrived. Since September of 1987 I have been experiencing the most wonderful life that a person could ever have. Words cannot describe what a difference Jesus can make in a persons life. For years I tried to find happiness in this world. I tried just about all that the world had to offer but I was miserable.When I asked Jesus to save me(even though I had no right to even ask,after the way I had treated him)it seemed as if a great weight had been lifted from my shoulders.And for the first time I was able to Know what true peace was. I had gone to church that morning but when they gave the invitation I would not come forward,I thank God that the Holy Spirit would not leave me alone,that afternoon I went into my bedroom and with no one there but me and God I asked him to save me.Hallelujah. After that I went up to my brothers house and we walked down to the creek where I told him what God had done.Have you ever seen 2 grown men cry and laugh at the same time?amen,amen. You see my brother had been praying for me for years and years.He would send preachers by my house and I would run them off,but he would just keep on praying. He would send subscriptions of The Sword of The Lord Magazine to the house and I would throw them away,but he would keep on praying.I thank God someone prayed for me. I am a christian now and I love the Lord with all my heart.I guess I will go now,while sitting here thinking about God saving me and how good he is to me I have started crying and rejoicing so that I can,t hardly see how to type.
