I am 43 years old and have been a born again Christian since I was 22 years old. I have grown to love the Lord. There were times when things were rough but God always brought me through. When I was 21 not married and pregrant with my first child I did not know the Lord. I was into drugs and alcohol. When I was carring my child I didn't do drugs or drink but after he was born I started back. One day a friend I hadn't known to long ask me to go to church with her. I told her that the only dress that I had was a disgo dress that was real short. She said that ok because God doesn't look on the outside. I didn't really feel comforable going but just to ease her mind I said yes. So that Sunday morning on September 22 1979 I began my journey to church. We sat down about midway thru church and they began the service with singing than there was the preacing. This preaching was something that I had never heard before. I listen and never realizing that God at this time was working in my heart. By the end my heart was pounding and the preacher was giving the call for sinners to come to the Lord. With no cares of how I was dress I went to the alter and fell to my knees and began crying. Then I ask Jesus Christ to come into my life and cleanse me of my sins and make me whole. I felt a warmness over my body and I knew at this time that I was made new creature in Christ. He has Bless me and my family ever since. I am married to a Godsent man who is a vessel of God and also bless with 2 wonderful boys who are 21 years old and 17 who God work in their life also. I know that God will always be there for me.
