Before, I was having an affair with a married man. I know it is a sin and I wanted to get out from that relationship. It was difficult for me but I know that the LORD will be my strength. The LORD Jesus has delivered me and I was able to get away from this man. I resigned from the company that I was in to be totally separated from this man. Then after that, I got a better job from a multinational company. Everything seems to be okay and my relationship with the LORD stayed "just OK" for awhile. My job entails me to meet a lot of people and there are lots of temptations that came my way. My relationship with the LORD stayed lukewarm and I compromised with the 'world' and its pleasures. Then after a few months on the job... I got fired. I asked my supervisor why he was firing me and he could not give me a straight answer. I was devastated!!! I had nothing anymore... the prestige from my company, big salary, a car, even friends(?)...they are all gone. I cried my heart out to the LORD. All I felt at that time was pain and humiliation. I asked comfort from the LORD and HE gave it to me and much, much more... HE opened my eyes to my REAL situation. All along I thought that I'm ok with HIM but there was really no relationship at all because I don't know HIM. From then on I recomitted my life back to the LORD JESUS and this time I have every intention of knowing HIM, loving HIM, glorifying HIM in my life and sharing HIM with others. I studied the BIBLE. I become active in my church. I become a teacher in Sunday School. The LORD has continually been at my side, guiding me through just like a FATHER to HIS child. HE has also washed me completely from my past sins even the adultery that I have committed. HE became a REAL SAVIOR to me. HE has delivered me from emotional pains as wellas healed me from physical sicknesses. PRAISE THE LORD!!!! I am thankful for HIS amazing GRACE. Now after a year, I got a job again and I'm continuing to grow more and more in my personal relationship with the LORD JESUS CHRIST. HE has continually been on my side leading me and giving me wisdom every single day.
