Hi, I was born into a family where I knew both Jesus and countless Hindu Gods. I somehow knew that Jesus was 'The Way' and prayed to Jesus. I also knew that there was something called a born again experience and I waited for some earth shaking event. As I grew older I started sinning more and more and finally when I reached college I would refuse to go anywhere near Him. When friends would call me to prayer sessions I would reply I will come when I am convinced. One day a group of students from the US came to my college. God spoke to me and told me to stand up and go to one of them to prayer. I told Him if you really care about me make some one come to me. As we were standing there discussing our homework one of the students drew near and started talking with us.I asked her how do you know you are saved. She took me aside and showed me the verse 'If you believe in your heart and confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth you are saved'. This word of God some how touched me and I believed.
