i didn't get a divorce--which is what you're supposed to have gotten to write this, i think. but i'm a child of divorced parents. this is the only time i think it's wise to actually get one--except of course in abusive situations. my real dad had an affair--several affairs actually, so my mom divorcd him. now my mom's married to another guy--he's adopted me and all that good stuff. my new dad is a Christian (unlike my real dad). i believe that it was God's plan, as crazy as that may sound. i know what i'm about to say will sound wierd. except in abusive relationships and most affairs, nobody should get a divorce. i'm sorry, but you have to work it out. if you want to get a divorce because you don't love your spose anymore, that's no excuse. please even though my situation turned out happy, i still wonder about my real dad and what would have happen if they didn't get a divorce. it's not something you want your kids to wonder about--it's too much stress for a child to handle--seriously, this is coming from a teen. please don't recommend divorce unless there's an affair or abuse or something really drastic.
