i played basketball all my life since the 7th grade. when i played i thought that making it to the professional level would fill the void in my life, but i never got a lot of playing time.everyone told me to give it up, but i always wanted to show everyone that i could make it no matter what the coaches in high school and college said about me.when they heard tell of my dream they all laughed at me.when i got to junior college, i surrenderd my life to Christ.2 1/2 years later i went on tour with athletes in action ,a ministry deoted to sharing the gospel of my Savior.after i got back, i was offered an oppurtunity to play in brazil.it wasn't a lot of money but i feel that this is a great testimony. especially for a person who has been ridiculed and mocked all my life because i dared to dream a dream against all the odds.proverbs 37:4 sums up this whole story.
