I searched for God in all the wrong places. As a teen I turned to alcohol and dabbled in the occult. In college it was New Age and then Mormonism. Thankfully, whenever you reach out to God, He reaches back. I had yet to be delivered from all the evil forces I had opened myself wide to. Saturday, August 7,1999, was my day for freedom. The demons had no more foothold and were cast out. I then gave myself to Christ and asked for forgiveness of my sins with a certainty I had never felt. The heaviness that I had thought was a part of me was gone. And though I am still facing the attacks from the evil ones, it is no longer from within and, in prayer and faith I can stand against them instead of succumb to them. Jennifer.
